No response after repeated calls to Customer Service and being told my complaint has been elevated to corporate office.

I have yet to hear back from Meineke Customer Service after calling repeatedly for 2 weeks and being assured my case has been elevated and someone will call you soon.

In summary, my vehicle was assessed to be repaired for a leaking rear brake line and an oil change for $631.12 after tax.

I was assured by the store owner Denny that we are in the brake repair business. We have the proper tools and labor to replace only the broken parts.

We can use torches to heat rusty fittings and replace only what is broke

Understanding I would need 20 of brake line and 3 hours of labor at $135/hr for certified technicians, I agreed to the repair that would take a day. This all started on 8/17/21.

Soon afterwards I received a call I need both rear calipers. After having to spend over $2300, 3 return visits and having to get the car towed, I was assured we test drove the car and its perfect.

I picked the car up just prior to the Labor Day holiday weekend to go out of town. I got in the car and the brake pedal still did not feel right.

I went back inside and asked them to sit in the car and check it out. The associate Paul spoke to the mechanic in the back and said he made a n adjustment to the from calipers and they will get better as I drive, dont worry.

My wife and I took turns driving and we both felt like it was not right. It takes to much pressure to get the car to slow down and stop. We arrived at our destination Saturday evening and I asked my son to take the car for a ride.

He agreed with my suspicions that there is air in the brake system. We decided due to the holiday weekend and Meineke offices closed for the balance of Saturday, Sunday and holiday Monday, we both have mechanical repair backgrounds, we need to bleed the brakes.

Knowing the proper technique and sequencing of bleeding the system, we found air in 3 of the 4 calipers with 2 of them being on opposite axles containing significant air. I was furious and relieved at the same time. I felt better driving the car but it was still not right.

I took the car back to store #2370 on our way home from our trip with a detailed note of how we bleed the system and dropped the keys in a envelope.

The next day I was notified by text that I voided my warranty and come pick up the car.

I replied with questioning why without any response. In my opinion, bleeding a brake is no different than checking your oil. Do you void a warranty by checking your oil?

As I stated earlier, I have not heard from Customer Service after repeated calls.

I have put a dispute on 3 visa invoices for the amount of I feel was for parts and labor that I should never had to spend. Parts that were replaced and charged 3X higher than local parts stores and the labor hours to install them.

I paid a total of $2323.99 on an original quote of $737.87 for brake line, oil change, and welding of exhaust.

My 4 calipers a master cylinder were all in good working order prior to bringing the car in.

User's recommendation: Dishonest and low quality workmanship.

Monetary Loss: $1586.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.

Meineke Pros: Employees were friendly.

Meineke Cons: Horrible customer service in the corporate office.
